The Gilbert Centre Services
The Gilbert Centre is a not for profit Multi agency centre that is both unique and innovative facility.
It came about through the concerted efforts of a steering group made up of disability and community groups, voluntary and statutory agencies over and 8 year period. A needs analysis of community facilities identified a lack of accessible community facilities for people with physical and or sensory disabilities in the North Cork area and the Gilbert Centre was this pioneering groups answer to the identified gap. read more
